Cardumi is an app by GoinUP. We collect the minimum for the app to work and never sell your data.
what we store
- Account: name, email, phone or WhatsApp, username and password (stored only as an irreversible code).
- Account preferences: last chosen place, saved spots and favorite species.
- Messages and reports you send through forms.
- Technical access logs (IP address, date and page), for the period required by the Marco Civil da Internet (Brazil's internet law).
what stays only on your device
Without an account, the chosen place, saved spots, fishing journal, theme and language stay in your browser and do not reach our server.
photo to identify fish
The photo is resized on your device and sent to the artificial intelligence service that does the analysis (Anthropic). We do not store the photo.
services the app uses
For the forecast and map, the app queries weather, river and mapping services (Open-Meteo, ANA, OpenStreetMap and Esri), sending only the coordinates of the chosen place, with no data from your account.
cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember language and place. We do not use advertising cookies.
your rights (LGPD)
You can view and correct your data in "my account" and delete your account at any time, which erases your data and preferences. For other requests, use the contact form.
