Sport-fishing-only fishery in Luziânia, less than 60 km from Brasília, with three main ponds and pirararas up to 50 kg. Founded in 1996.
Clube Pescar started as a pay-to-fish lake in 1996 and, since 2002, has worked only with sport fishing, according to the club itself. The three main ponds cover 5,000, 10,000 and 25,000 m² and hold pirararas that can reach 50 kg, pacus, tilapias, surubim, dorado and matrinxãs. A June 2022 report also cited cacharas and surubim of up to 25 kg, and noted that the club hosts qualifying rounds of the Campeonato Brasileiro em Pesqueiros (CBP). According to the club, the 2021 round caught almost 8 tons of fish in 6 hours of competition. The property has 25 developed hectares, a hotel and restaurant, and serves day anglers or overnight guests.

Open every day, according to the club. Pirarara and pacu feed more in the warm months; on cold June and July mornings, wait for the sun to warm the water.
Local rules: House rule: sport fishing only, on a catch-and-release basis. Surubim is listed as Vulnerable on the national list of threatened species (Portaria GM/MMA 1.667/2026); here it is farmed and goes back into the water. Never take fish from the fishery to release into a river, lake or reservoir: introducing an animal outside its natural range without technical opinion and license is an environmental offense, with fines from R$2,000 plus R$200 per fish (Decreto federal 6.514/2008, art. 25). Fishing license: confirm with the fishery and Semad-GO whether it is required to fish there. Check local rules.
