Fishery about 50 km from Curitiba, with nine catch-and-release lakes, three for night fishing and five pay lakes. Host of the Paraná leg of the CBP.
Valle Verde is in the rural area of Mandirituba, in the Curitiba metropolitan region, and separates the two modalities. Sport fishing covers 28,870 m² of water surface across nine lakes for day use and three for night use, with carp (bighead, grass and Hungarian), pacu, dorado, cachara, trahira, black bass and matrinxã, according to the official website. Pay-to-fish has five lakes, covering over 8,500 m², with tilapia, pacu, catfish, carp, lambari and, in winter, trout. The lakes host the Paraná leg of the Campeonato Brasileiro em Pesqueiros (CBP) every year. In the December 7, 2025 round there were 370 catches, with 214 carp and 142 surubim caught and released, according to a December 2025 report.

Open Tuesday to Sunday. Carp, pacu and surubim feed more in the heat; trout enter the pay lakes in winter, according to the fishery.
Local rules: House rules: separate lakes for catch and release and for pay fishing; use only the dough baits allowed by the fishery. Surubim is listed as Vulnerable on the national list of threatened species (Portaria GM/MMA 1.667/2026): in the sport fishing lakes, it goes back into the water. Never take fish from the fishery to release into a river, lake or reservoir: introducing an animal outside its natural range without technical opinion and license is an environmental offense, with fines from R$2,000 plus R$200 per fish (Decreto federal 6.514/2008, art. 25). Fishing license: confirm with the fishery and IAT whether it is required to fish there. Check local rules.
