how to recognize it

identification

A small, elongated catfish with barbels and a long anal fin. Like other catfishes in its family, it has spines on the pectoral and dorsal fins. Reaches 18 centimeters, and its small size helps identify it: the jundiá (Rhamdia quelen), from the catalog, is also in the family Heptapteridae but grows much larger. Check the size and the basin where it was caught.
