can you fish in the meantime?
- Pay lakes stay open: the fish are farm-raised.
- In many states, recreational fishing continues in reservoirs, and exotic species (like tilapia, and peacock bass outside the Amazon) can be fished. Each state has its own rule.
- When in doubt, check the rule for the exact spot: Cardumi shows what applies where you're going to fish.
